Alberta Farm Century Award
On June 14, 2010 the Sankey family was recognized for having maintained ownership of the original homestead for 100 years and were presented with a placque by the Special Areas.
Dimitrious filed his homestead claim on April 2, 1910.

100-year-old house! That's an antique by itself. It is really an achievement!
