December has definitely been colder than usual - we had been so spoiled with a long mild fall. Here is some of Jack Frost's handiwork on the windows in the - 25 -30' C temps.
On Sabbath we had a church fellowship dinner at our house.
L-R Father Sankey, Pastor Streifling and James Letniak.
Ryan Letniak is home for the holiday break. Here he is with Jaren, Kevin Lawrence & Ron.
On Sunday we had the Kerr family over for supper and they gave us this lovely picture for Christmas. You plug it in and it lights up & the waterfall looks like the water is flowing!
Tonight was the annual Hemaruka supper and carole singsong.
Marlene Magill, Angie & I led out.

Trevor & Dayleen Kerr had a trumpet duet.

Landen was the littlest elf!
And of course Santa paid us a visit!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!

Beautiful picture. Nice work by Jack Frost too! Just heard from Jeff and they have reached Seattle - flight delayed only 1/2 hr. to Kelowna at this point. So they should be in at 11:00 p.m. Hope you guys get lucky tomoro as we heard Vanc. is to get 20 cm tonight!! Good Luck and have an awesome Christmas. I will e-mail Kim as to when Jeff and Niesha arrived.

Looks like you are having fun in spite of the cold weather!!! We are having anything BUT a traditional Christmas - hot, humid and raining! we are enjoying another culture in Bali, Indonesia! The food has been excellent - the villa was just what we needed! Now on to Borneo and the monkeys! It will all come to an end way too soon!!! We are not so far from Scott & Patricia!
