On Thursday/ Friday we had a 24 hour visit from Ev, Ken, Niesha & Jeff. It was Niesha's first visit to Alberta & Jeff said he hasn't been here in the summer since he was 14! It was too short a visit but we were able to show them a few things on the ranch - the bison being the highlight.
Over the years this old wagon has been the backdrop for many pictures with the Steinke's.
This year the men were more daring & used the bison as a backdrop!

How fun to have Jeff and Niesha there - even for such a short time! Your last month or so sure has been a whirlwind!
Looks like everyone had a great time -- too bad it was soo short. There is a lot to explore in 24hrs out here! I'm glad my family was able to be here for the week - you don't feel so rushed trying to fit everything in and then there's still more you could do. There's always next time :)
Thanks Elaine and Murray for giving Jeff and Niesha an unforgetable 24 hours! Niesha raved about the Bison to everyone. Also, they both enjoyed the ribs SO MUCH. We enjoyed everything too. Couldn't have asked for better treatment and hospitality.
