Congratulations Trevor!

The Kerr family has been working with us on the ranch for 10 years now and we have become quite attached to their kids. Trevor, the oldest who has helped us for 3 summers, graduated from high school this year. Yesterday we were honored to be part of the celebration as the Consort School held its Grade 12 Graduation Exercises. Pictured above is Trevor with his parents, Sheri & Steven.

We are so proud of Trevor as he was one of the organizers of Consort School's first "Dry Grad Party" after the graduation excercises. Almost one-quarter of his class chose to attend this alternate to the "Safe Grad" party. I volunteered to supervise and although it was one of the few nights of my life that I didn't see the bed until 6:00 AM it was totally worth it to see all the good, safe fun they had. The activities they had were sumo wrestling , a rock climbing wall, movies, virtual band (or whatever it was called!), non-stop food, doorprizes and the most popular of all, non-stop paintball all night! Almost 70 people participated as grads, their families and friends interacted with no problems whatsoever! Congratulations Trevor on achieving this milestone and the best of luck at Lakeland College in the Fall.

Well done! CONGRATULATIONS to ALL Grads!

Hey young Grads
good show I say
you've done it now
you showed us how

You've had some good times
You've made some good friends
now some will go off
to do it again

So good luck in college
You can do it
Have a real wild time
but don't over do it

Try to make friends fast
many of the early ones
will be the ones
who last

Unless you love
to get up early
don't schedule your classes
way too early

And try to get to class
as much as you can
you'll be glad you did
then you'll deserve a cold can

But try not to party
too much before class
you'll more likely attend
and you won't be an ass

If you fail the easy Calc
don't take the harder one
just keep your eye on the ball
between all the fun

You'll be entering
sort of a fantasy land
of reading, writing, and thinking
with those who can lend a hand

So, do your best with grades
but at least finish the task
and soon another graduation
will come at last...

So
CONGRATULATIONS
GOOD LUCK
and HAVE FUN!!!
